Head of Department

Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2014 with an intake capacity of 60. Within a short span, it has achieved the lead in many areas of Academics, Cultural, and Sports etc. The department has set up a great tradition of producing eminent engineers who are competent and committed to the high professional standards in the field of engineering and technology. Civil Engineering is the most Versatile and Core branch of Engineering comprising of structural Design & Analysis, surveying, geotechnical, irrigation, transportation etc. Increasing Competition and Complex Technological Breakthrough has widened the scope of Civil Engineering Branch. This is basic to any kind of construction as industrial, commercial, residential in general. Civil Engineering finds wide applications in all fields of technology.

Civil Engineering is the science of applying concepts for improving quality of life. It essentially deals with application of technology. Here ideas & creativity matters a lot to develop efficient engineers. At our department we take our students through both these realms. While on one hand, we ensure clarity of the basic concepts applied of science, on the other hand we encourage students to look at practical needs from different angles and find innovative and creative solutions.

During these years this department has produced quite a few outstanding Diploma engineers and technologists. Since its inception, the department has grown into one of the recognized Civil Engineering Departments among all polytechnic institutes in and around Sangli, Kolhapur and Karad region.

Hello everyone I’m Mohini Shelake , I have completed my diploma in Civil Engineering Department from Rajarambapu Istitiute  of Technology, Rajaramnagar in year 2018. Now I am pursuing Bachelor in Civil Engineering from reputed institute.

Well RIT is an autonomous Institute and in this institute has excellent & highly qualified faculties. RIT follows outcome based education which creates friendly environment between student and teachers.

Talking about Civil engineering department which has different labs to develop every students not only for theoretical but also practical knowledge. They also arrange various software courses like AutoCAD, 3D max, STAD Pro, RIVET etc. to improve drawing and imagination skills of Civil Engineering.

Institute has also collaborated with different industries and  Institute by which they are arrange field visit, internship program and placement activities. Faculties also supportive with students not only education but also for research and extra curriculum activities.

Institute has well developed laboratories with all necessary equipments and instruments. Library facility with many number of books with good reading section.

I feel really blessed for completed my 3 years of diploma education from this Institute.

This is the best Institute for those who want to complete there engineering education.

Hello Everyone I’m Shahid Yunus Shaikh I have completed my diploma in Civil engineering in 2020 from Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Rajaramnagar.

I feel feeling very great full for being passed out from such a highly ranked college in all over India.  This Institute has very good and excellent Infrastructure. It also highly qualified teachers and conduct outcome based learning program which creates contributory environment in between students and teachers. In has been many facilities like cafeteria, canteen and the biggest facility library which contain more than lakh numbers of books.

Library has reading sections with wide area it also digital library to available every single knowledge at your fingertips at any time.  To maintain physical fitness is also has a gymnasium for boys and girls. It has very good relation between national and international companies.

Institute has good record of being 100% placement for every year with good packages. Overall campus and department are very good for students. Thank you.
